Aims: Residential and residential use is a complete example of Iranian architecture that is full of aesthetic and technical teachings for modernity in the present time. The main purpose is to introduce architectural guidelines in the concepts of sustainability, taking into account local traditions and values.
Tools and Methods: The method of qualitative research is based on logical reasoning. The study sample has been purposefully selected from among the modified houses by the Tehran City Beautification Organization and Tehran Municipality. The enamel house is located between Naser Khan Ansha and Kamraniyeh alleys on Valiasr Street, above Moniriyeh Square in Moniriyeh neighborhood, which has been given to the citizens after changing the use.
Results: The research results show the lasting values ​​of the enamel house as an example of the precious stones of traditional Iranian architecture. The results show that the change of use of this house has caused more interaction between home and city, a dilapidated house has become a source of inspiration for architecture today and in the future, concepts that are all in the direction of moving towards sustainability.
Conclusion: Enamel house is a valuable model of the treasures of traditional Iranian architectural teachings and the ancient texture of Tehran, which can be considered a valuable example of the manifestation of sustainability in Iranian architecture and urban planning. Conclusion The article comes with guidelines that will be useful as guides or guidelines for designing sustainable homes.
