Aims: Presenting practical strategies to enhance the quality of temporary housing and elucidating the role of prefabrication and semi-prefabrication on achieving efficient architectural goals. Outlining the prefabrication and semi- prefabrication process are among the main aims of the research.

Methods: In this study, a combination of descriptive-analytical and exploratory methods was employed to examine specialized texts in the field of temporary housing design and the implemented examples in both domestic and international contexts. The study also investigated innovative approaches to semi-prefabricated construction. The main objective was to investigate and extract design approaches and indicators for temporary housing. Questionnaires were distributed to experts in the field of temporary housing design and implementation.

Findings: According to the research findings, attention to user privacy (as a people-centric component) with an average rank of 5.14, resistance of materials against earthquakes and fires (as a materials-centric component) with an average rank of 4.03, and ultimately, the utilization of innovative prefabrication and semi-prefabrication methods (as a design-centric component) with an average rank of 3.44 play the most significant role in enhancing the quality of temporary housing

Conclusion: From the standpoint of experts, there is a greater emphasis on material-centric and people-centric approaches in the design of temporary housing, while design-centric approaches and their components are deemed less significant by expert groups. Consequently, by utilizing the existing indicators within the design-centric component and enhancing the qualitative aspects of its strategies (including the incorporation of innovative semi-prefabrication methods), the quality of temporary housing can be elevated.
Aims: Geometry and ornaments are one of the most important elements of mosque architecture. Mosque is also the most prominent portion in Muslim construction. Considering the physical and semantic dimensions of mosques, geometry and ornaments, in addition to the function of geometrical structuring and adorning the space, it cause the appearance of divine names and attributes in the mosque. The necessity and importance of this research originates from the fact that importance of meaning and virtue is not less than its construction and we should not be limited only to the external aspects of the mosque. Taking advantage of appropriate geometry and ornaments, the most important purpose of research is to improve the architectural design of the mosque naves. Materials and methods: Contemporary landmark mosques, considered as immanent legacies, were selected as the case study and correlation, Delphi and case research methods and questionnaires, interviews, surveys, and statistical analysis software were used. Initially, through interviews and questionnaires from elites, then through questionnaires from experts and in three valuable contemporary mosques, the users of the mosque were surveyed and the data were analyzed through statistical software. Findings: the appropriate utilization of geometry and ornaments, in addition to improving the architectural design, manifests the spiritual meaning and virtu in the mosque naves.. Conclusion: The purposeful use of geometry and ornamental decorations in mosques, with proper expression and the use of advanced materials and technologies, lead to the way to the improvement of the spirituality of mosques;

Aims: Technological development, organization of space based on functional approaches and modern visual modeling have led to the emergence of mold products in the urban landscape of contemporary Iran, dealing more with physical requirements and visual effects. In late architecture, however, there are manifestations of human themes in relation to the space which are due to the existence of a bond between architecture and literature. In order to re-establish such a bond, this article seeks to investigate "Hafez’s Lyrical Space" to reexamine the concept of space in architecture.

Methods: The space of Hafez’s poetry is interrelated with man’s experience so in its relation with human experience and phenomenological studies. This study is informed by Phenomenological methodology. In order to recognize human experiences germane to Hafez’s lyrical space and to understand the concept of space, this article has investigated human experiences of a number of professionals in different fields.

Findings: The findings suggest that the concept of "Hafez’s Lyrical space" is constantly intertwined with human embodiment (body- mind) in his poetry, so human being becomes meaningfulness in lyrical space and vice versa. This space appears with the presence of human embodiment in a multifaceted dialectical relationship, i.e. visible and invisible layers, separate from a concentration and centralization on human or other phenomena.

Conclusion: Based on the concepts extracted from mediating, multidimensional and embodied lyrical spaces of Hafez's poetry which were considered with unique connection with human, the process of formation of lyrical spaces embodied in contemporary urban landscape and architecture emerged.
</Abstract>

In the process of creation of the work, the facade of the building, as the outermost comprehensible element, which generally has the task of conveying the symbolic concepts of the work, plays a prominent role in the effectiveness of the new technologies of their era. The main goal of this research is to investigate and identify the effective aspects of technology on the creation of the facade of contemporary iconic buildings.
Adding a new structure to the historic district is one of the methods of urban conservation that needs more cautious compared to other methods. In this regard, international organizations have addressed this issue in documents. which until now, has been investigated and analyzed less precisely. So, in this research, for the purpose of design formulations, what they are is followed up. So, by studying the documents, the required data were collected and based on the theme and structure of the design, were summarized in three levels of attitude, approach and method. Then, with the help of comparative comparison and SPSS, the design approaches are described. The collected data show that three design approached have been proposed so far. In the first, presented in the Venice Charter, the Washington Charter, the Charter of the Principles of Review, Conservation and Structural Restoration of Architectural Architecture, the New Zealand Charter and the Bura Charter, historic district as document is preferable. Therefore, it is recommended to not change and homogeny. In the second, presented in the statement of Tlaxcala and San Antonio, historic district is seen as a document and a part of a city. Therefore, it is recommended to manage change and harmony based on traditionalism. In other documents, despite the similar attitude and approach, it has been recommended to harmony with regard to characteristics of district and contemporary expression with compatibility with it.
</Abstract>

which have lost their main functions, and their abandonment and lack of proper use causes them to be destroyed more and more. Nowadays, historical buildings can no longer be used as in the past and by changing the use of historical buildings, they are saved from certain death, and the concept of contemporizing all these achievements is in mind.

Methods: In this study, the time range is related to the traditional houses located in the neighborhoods of Tehran in the period from 1941 to 1966., most of the houses are related to the central core of Tehran and the surrounding and neighborhood streets of Elginab, Waliasr, Karim Khan Zand, etc. The techniques used in the applied method of this research in order to modernize modern historical monuments are preparing and completing the questionnaire, using the interpretive structural modeling (ISM) approach and linear regression technique.

Findings: Among the 42 indicators studied in the five physical-structural, perceptual, functional, socio-economic and natural-environmental dimensions, the indicators of preserving old residents, improving the quality of housing, using special colors, easy access on foot, etc. are completely inappropriate conditions in terms of the principles of modernization They play a role in the historical monuments of Tehran metropolis.

Conclusion: The four indicators of neighborhood authenticity and sense of belonging, the use of a special form, the presence of necessary activities and the recognizability of spaces have the highest and best quality compared to other studied indicators from the point of view of the theory of contemporization, and they have medium-high conditions in terms of the points obtained.

Aims: The industrial architecture heritage of Iran is exposed to natural deterioration or human destruction. In protecting the industrial architecture heritage, mostly physical aspects that have a tangible perception are often analyzed. While, other influential aspects with a non-physical nature are effective in the protection process. The present study is aimed to investigate the intangible aspects of industrial architecture heritage as a neglected values and variables in the conservation process by focusing on Tehran’s Silo.

Methods: This paper is a historical-adaptive research and has a qualitative nature. First among the typologies of heritage values, Pereira Roders’ typology is proposed using the logical reasoning technique; Then by re-reading the historical documents of Tehran’s Silo, the values of this kind of heritage are analyzed and after matching with the selected typology components, they are interpreted and analyzed.
Findings: Knowledge in the field of industrial architecture heritage values plays a fundamental role in emphasizing on the approach of protecting the base value. The achievement of research is to explain and categorize the values of Tehran’s Silo based on Roders’ typology in eight primary values social, economic, political, historic, aesthetical, scientific, age, and ecological and thirty secondary values.

Conclusion: The results of the research indicate that a major part of the industrial architecture heritage values has intangible aspects. The exact analysis of the aspects of the industrial architecture heritage values, makes it possible to evaluate and prioritize the values of this heritage and take informed decisions about selecting the optimal type of conservation.
</Abstract>
