Abstract
Aims: The aim of this study is to examine and explain the relationship between color and color landscape with place identity and individual identity. The article seeks to understand how individual and place identities change simultaneously, and to explore concepts such as place identity and individual identity. The theoretical framework indicates that colors are among the most important elements in creating urban identity.

Methods: The research method is descriptive-analytical in the form of a case study. Data collection was conducted through fieldwork (observation and questionnaire) and library research. In addition, the current colors of the studied space are examined using the Natural Color System (NCS), which is one of the recognized color systems. The NCS is a unique perceptual color model developed based on the theory of visual color contrast proposed by the German physiologist Ewald Hering.

Findings: Studies emphasize the impact of color (both subjective and objective) on the legibility and sociability of urban spaces. To analyze photographs and field observations, the NCS was used to code colors, and the role of color in the current city palette led to significant findings.

Conclusion: The results show that colors are key elements that can create homogeneous spaces and atmospheres or, conversely, generate distinctions between them. The use of appropriate colors in the urban landscape brings a sense of vitality and calm to users. Colors can be considered one of the important elements influencing the identity and legibility of the urban landscape, and their role in enhancing the quality of the urban environment and landscape cannot be overlooked.
